The shortest Good News ever ... it's about celebrities ... green celebrities. Without a doubt -- one of the most impressive changes in Western Culture, over the last 12 months is the proliferation of green celebrities and green cultural reference points. In our opinion, a heart warming number of mainstream stars have seen fit to place the planet first on their public agendas.

The Good News
The positives are limitless. In a culture driven by media sound bites, these individuals tend to have as much influence over the popular mindset as our political, religious, and otherwise leaders... We all know that. What's interesting is the shift. Environmentalism used to be un-cool. Each day more and more stars reveal themselves to be intelligent, soulful, and respectful members of our grand, global community. The actions taken by many of today's leading stars links them not only to the aesthetic spoils of green fashion, but to the long-view pragmatism and holistic compassion of pioneers such as Rachel Carson, Paul Hawken, Lester Brown, and Ray Anderson. In the pop culture anaylisis, a celebrity endorsement implies that green is cutting edge, and that our growing green economy is cool, rewarding, important, and for everyone.
