About Material
BioBag 3 Gallon Kitchen Compost Bags are made from Mater-Bi™, the first completely biodegradable and compostable bio-polymer in the world. Mater-Bi is created in an environmentally renewable process from GMO-free corn starch, vegetable oil and other plant-based resources. BioBags will decompose at a rate comparable to leaves and food waste when placed into a composting environment, but remain shelf stable under normal indoor & outdoor condutions. Use in the same manner as you would any "plastic" bag. BioBags are plastic bags without the plastic!
