Why Mastic #6?
#6 Mastic is a non-toxic adhesive-sealant used for permanently sealing the fabricated joints and seams of sheet metal air ducts, rigid fiberglass air ducts (UL-181 listed), flexible air ducts (UL-181 listed), and thermal insulation. It is also ideal for repairing damaged and leaking air ducts as well as sealing conditioned spaces from general air infiltration (air leaks).

PRODUCT NOTES
Product's bucket is resealable, with a vapor lock seal lid.
Mastic is a fibrous adhesive sealant used to coat the thermal insulation on pipes & ducts,
as well as seal un-insulated ducts.
INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
Apply mastic evenly over & around all seams & joints in your Heating/Cooling system (HVAC).
Use a gloved hand, brush, trowel or caulking gun. Mastic should cover approximately 2 to 3 inches on either side of the seam.
For larger gaps, use mesh tape (available below) to build a bridge before applying Mastic seal.
