  
The Multi-Pure CBT Carbon Block Filters are tested ad certified under NSF/ANSI standard No. 42 and No. 53 to remove cholarmines, chlorine, particulate matter, asbestos, chlordane, cysts, lead, mercury, MBTE, PCBS, TOXAPHENE, turbidity, VOCs, and more. Improves taste and appearance, while also removing odors. Filter life is good for 1,100 gallons or 1,600 or up to one year, depending on model and water conditions.
